Equipment Needed

Ingredients

Taco Ingredients

\2 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
\15 Ounces of Black Beans, Drained and Rinsed
\2 Tbsp of Water
\1 tsp of Ground Cumin
\1/2 tsp of Ground Chili Powder
\Sea Salt, To Taste

Guacamole Ingredients

\3 Tbsp of Lime Juice
\1/2 Medium of Jalapeno, Finely Diced

To Serve

\Mango Salsa, To Taste
\Romaine Lettuce
\Butter
\Iceberg Lettuce

Instructions

  1. Lets Get Cookin'
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add beans, water, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, and Mexican oregano. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and stir to combine
  2. Simmer it
    Cook, stirring occasionally until the beans are warmed through and the spices become fragrant around 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside
  3. Now Lets Move on
    While the beans are cooking, mash the avocado in a small glass or another non-reactive bowl. Add tomato, lime juice, fresh cilantro, and jalapeño. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and stir to combine. Set aside.
  4. Get it Ready
    Transfer warm beans to a bowl and add diced bell pepper, if using. Sprinkle with additional spices, if desired. Serve immediately with large lettuce leaves for wrapping, along with fresh guacamole and Conrad Farms mango salsa. Enjoy!
